Chicago, IL, USA — February 18, 2008 – Risetime, Inc., a Chicago based consulting company focused on delivering business process management, enterprise content management, and web solutions, announced the appointment of Rick Rietz to Practice Director of the newly formed Web Content Management (WCM) practice. Building upon key client successes in 2007, the WCM practice will apply thought leadership, management expertise, and technical experience to the implementation of web content management solutions.
Web content management systems are used to control dynamic web material (e.g. rich text, documents, and images) and provide content creation and editing capabilities to users with little or no knowledge of programming languages. “We continue to see a high level of excitement for web content management, particularly driven by Microsoft SharePoint 2007. Risetime’s experience brings real world knowledge and expertise to the implementation of SharePoint 2007 WCM solutions, as well as a perspective on other .NET based WCM platforms,” said Rick Rietz, WCM Practice Director. “Our team has experience ranging from large-scale deployments of SharePoint WCM to the design and development of sites using open source content management systems as well as custom content management solutions.”
Prior to being appointed to the role of WCM Practice Director, Rick was responsible for delivering web solutions for Risetime’s largest retail client, Sears Holdings. In addition, Rick has been overseeing the implementation of another major retailer’s new web content management system which will be deployed this spring on Microsoft’s SharePoint 2007 WCM. Risetime has also designed and implemented web solutions for a variety of clients, including Sears, OfficeMax, Dollar General, the City of Chicago, American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and SafeGuard.
