The meeting featured keynote speaker Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, who discussed the opportunity for innovation for large and small business alike, even within the current economic climate. Ballmer explained, “I see incredible opportunity for innovation and growth. A lot is going to depend on the choices we make in the coming years, as business leaders, and as society as a whole”. According to Ballmer, every business can utilize technology concepts and applications to take themselves to the next level: from service and operations, to marketing and finance, technology will be critical for sustained growth and is the catalyst to innovation.

BroMenn Regional Medical Center, a 224-bed full-service, not-for-profit hospital, is one of the most advanced acute care facilities in central Illinois. A primary goal of BroMenn is to deliver high quality, personal care to patients in need. To realize this goal today and into the future, they must efficiently and proactively pursue payment for care and services provided. 

BroMenn determined they could increase their billing efficiency by proactively pre-certifying physician orders, a process that underwent a manual, paper-based pilot program.
 
Based on extensive process improvement experience and our Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status, Risetime was selected to partner with BroMenn to turn the current manual paper process into a paperless process. Risetime developed a robust solution that would allow BroMenn to manage physician orders and leverage their existing IT investments in Open Text Fax Server and Microsoft SharePoint.
