Microsoft recently launched a pair of new benefit programs aimed at providing free SharePoint 2007 consulting services to Microsoft customers.  In the past, Microsoft Software Assurance benefits could be used for training and desktop planning; the Software Assurance benefit program has now been extended to include two types of SharePoint planning engagements.  Risetime is one of Microsoft's elite Gold Certified Partners who is certified to deliver these engagements.

Similar to the SDPS, Business Value Planning Services (BVPS) engagements focus on specific business processes and define how an existing process could be improved through online workflow automation via SharePoint and/or InfoPath/Forms Server.  Examples of business processes that could be automated and show immediate value include employee onboarding, IT asset management, expense processing, and invoice processing.
