Steven Bunes, Founder and President
Steven Bunes founded Risetime in 1984. The company's efforts originally focused on supplying highly technical consulting, engineering design and programming services within industrial, manufacturing and biomedical industries. Risetime developed and designed a wide array of successful medical and industrial devices between 1984 and 1990. During the 90's, Risetime began offering software application and web development solutions as the web gained popularity. As the industry evolved, Steven worked to transform the firm and maintain a successful business model. Risetime currently focuses on project-based development teams working with clients to build mission critical systems in all major IT areas.
As CEO, Steven is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Risetime as well as working with the management team to achieve Risetime's mission. Steven also maintains an active role with clients, providing vision and technical direction for applications across wide variety of industries.
Pamela Wiess, Vice President
Pam Wiess is a Vice President of Risetime with practice area responsibilities for major clients in both the commercial and public sector.
Before joining Risetime, Pam was a Senior Director at a Chicago-based consulting company. During that time she was responsible for leading the public sector practice providing solutions to city and county organizations. Before that, Pam was responsible for the infrastructure practice, which helped clients to establish a solid foundation and network for their information systems.
Pam was previously with Digital Equipment Corporation where she held a variety of positions in software product management, partner and alliance management, U.S. and corporate marketing management, sales account management for Fortune 100 clients, as well as project management, software consulting sales and delivery.
Chris Youngren, Vice President
Chris is responsible for the business solutions we deliver based on the technologies and products from our strategic partners. Chris manages these relationships, as well as strategic relationships with other business and technology partners throughout North America. As such, he is responsible for ensuring our clients success with all solutions we market, sell and delivery. In addition, as a Vice President, Chris is actively involved in setting the overall strategic direction of the firm.
Chris provides leadership to our clients by creating, reengineering and redesigning business processes and architecting new applications to increase efficiencies by leveraging our partner tools (He has never seen a whiteboard he did not like!).
Since joining Risetime in 2001, Chris has led teams implementing off the shelf and custom solutions for numerous clients representing a diverse cross section of industry - from local/state government and non-profit organizations to financial and healthcare. Prior to joining Risetime, Chris was a Managing Consultant for Xpedior (Metamor Technologies), leading projects and teams in the full life cycle development of custom business solutions for a variety of clients. Chris received his Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign.
